little frog

This one is a bit of a personal favourite. These are ranunculus flower bouquets. They come in a wonderful array of colours, yellow, white, red, pink, orange and copper and are available in winter and spring. They are from the buttercup family, and I think these are a beautiful alternative to peonies or roses. Oh and their name derives from the Latin meaning 'Little Frog'. Cute.

faking it

In all fairness, I'm not sure I'm totally convinced by the idea of fake flowers over a fresh flower bouquet, however if you are marrying abroad or at short notice these lovely silk flower bouquets could be worth a look. Of course the lovely thing about silk flowers are that after the wedding you can keep the bouquets at home to remind you of the day. Good idea for hot weather as well as they won't wilt! They also do a range of corsages and buttonholes if you wanted to kit the whole wedding party out. They also do unique designs, so if you wanted a bouquet to match your theme (like the monochrome one), or flowers that were out of season, this is a good option.

mix n match

I saw this and really liked the idea.  I think it works really well with the colour red, but you could be more adventurous as you can get shoes dyed most colours these days you could closely match the colour to your bouquet.  If you fancy adding a hit of colour to your outfit without being too brave, then I think this is a fun and sexy way to do so, and sooo great for photos.
